With the pending October release of the quintessentially 80s-themed musical comedy, “Eternity: The Movie,” Barrett Crake assumes the role of triple threat. He not only stars in the film and sings on six of the album tracks which are available on iTunes and Spotify, but also serves as producer. Crake stars as Todd Lucas, a naive songwriter from the Midwest who befriends a brash saxophonist from The Valley. Alone, they are pathetic losers, but together, they form the 1980s R&B duo – Eternity. Nominated for a New Vision Award at the Cinequest Film Festival, it will next screen at Outfest in Los Angeles.
All these destinations are a long way from Crake’s hometown of Weatherford, TX, but his passion for acting and singing drew him to Los Angeles where he’s pursued the dream ever since. Crake has appeared on such series as “$#*! My Dad Says,” “90210,” and “Bold and the Beautiful” in addition to the telefilm, “Fabulous High.” He also co-starred in the adventure drama “Bruno & Earlene Go to Vegas” which continues to hit the festival circuit worldwide. When not honing his craft, Crake enjoys Crossfit training, Nintendo, and dancing among a wide array of other activities.
