It’s been 2 years since I launched barrettcrake.com.  I was in the middle of traveling the world to promote my independent film “Eternity: The Movie”.  I didn’t know at the time but that I was in the middle of a big creative transition.  I’d been dreaming of making music for years and as I went through the experience of making “Eternity”, It felt more and more clear that this is where I should be focusing.

I’ve never wanted to be a hack musician so I decided to go back to school to break the seal of my musical creativity.  I’ve been studying singing, piano, and songwriting.  I’ve spent the last 2 years at Musicians Institute in Hollywood and my creative identity is taking shape.  That’s where this new website has come from.  It’s the new barrettcrake.com because I feel there’s a new Barrett Crake to share with the world.

I want to take people on a journey.  To do that, I need a more current reflection of where I am in my mind and what people can expect from me moving forward. You can expect the official regular updates of videos, music, blog posts, show dates and eventually my store! I hope the site is an accurate digital representation of my vision.
