I’m ecstatic to announce my new music video for my mashup cover of “Boy Problems/Get Lucky” (Original songs by Carly Rae Jepsen and Daft Punk). I’d been working on the song and decided I wanted to make a music video for it but I had no idea what it would look like.

I had a trip up to San Francisco and Lake Tahoe planned for 4th of July and I decided to shoot the vacation and see what I could come up with in the editing room.  I armed myself with my iPhone 6S Plus, tripod, a selfie stick and Ollo Clips and I made a pact with myself to film in the moment.  I was creative and spontaneous.  My Right brain got in the way constantly but I was able to overcome it.

I worked with an amazing editor named Gymon and he found the little gems in the footage that make it relatable, artistic and really brought out the joy of the song.  This is my first solo music video and I’m very proud of it.  I was able to use my University of Texas bachelors in Radio-Television-Film and apply it to my new music frontier.
